About Divebomb Crag:
A small area, only three developed climbs. Rock quality fair, Alaska terms. Kitty litter, and some very large hollow sounding flakes; think light thoughts as you climb. Name may have something to do with you pulling off breadloaf size rocks on your belayer. Also known for at times having crows nest near the top of cliff that would sometimes dive at you. Beautiful views reward you for climb here once you are above tree level. Full views of Skagway and Lynn canal, weather permitting of course. |
