About Mt. Olds:

The back side of Mt. Olds has a long granite cliff band with tons of potential for routes of every grade. Splitter cracks and not-to-loose rock makes for great climbing. Best done as a multi day outing, as the approach is a hard four hour hike.
Nearest town or city: Juneau
Directions: Follow granite creek trail all the way to the shoulder of Mt. Olds. Scramble up easy third class to the top. From the top you can look over the edge and fine points to rap from.
