This Crag is located about 17 miles south on Hwy 77 from Globe to Tucson. Parking can be an issue here but there are a few alternatives. The first parking is uphill on the side of the Hwy at the mouth of the canyon. The walk is longer but more Flat. Next is at the barbwire gate a bit further down the road on the east side. Parking here is good and less visable but be sure to close all gates to help keep cattle safe. Next is a pull out a bit further down that stretches behind a hill. The first gate is usually open and a quick desent down the hill puts you at the canyon floor. Routes are up the canyon from this approach. Reccomend camping at the nearby Drip or Homestead for this Crag. |
