Approach from Soldiers Pass Rd trailhead, look for drainage heading to base of east face of Tower of Bootle (attached to south side of Japhead). Walk up the drainage south of Tower to it's west end and approach on ledges below south face to east face. Start on face to thin crack (bolt) with lots of small gear possibilites, then hands for a good ways to a short OW that takes 2 camalots above and below. Save a #2, #3 for the hands sized roof then lieback the limestone band to exit on right.

Descent Options:

Rap chains with 70m or double ropes.

5 out of 5 stars great climbing on crappy rock!

nothing too technically difficult but warrants 11a due to sustained nature though varied climbing. 4 #2's are sufficient + 1 #3 and 1 #4, a double set of the smaller stuff + nuts.

5 out of 5 stars FA MAJAK Line

I finally got a no-falls lead. I didn't use a grey, blue or green camalot. Used one blue, red, (6) #2 camalot, (2) #3 camalots, couple small alien sizes, sm-med nuts and one hex I used just for the heck of it. Gotta move fast thru the roof and once over it, before the lieback, you can get a knee bar/rest.
