A few north-facing granite crags upstream from the river crossing.
Nearest town or city: Verde River
Directions: North101 to Pima Road. Continue to Cave Creek and east (right) until reaching FR24. Follow for >20 miles to Bloody Basin junction (an alternative I17 approach). Drive east on a rough FR269 for 8 more miles to Tangle Creek.
