About Jacks Canyon:
| Sport climbing. Highly pocketed limestone/sandstone mix cliffs often compared to an outdoor gym. Almost 300 routes of what some consider to be some of the best sport climbing in the country. All routes are protected generously by cold shuts (even cracks). Year-round climbing. Spring & Fall best, Summer you will be chasing shade on hot days. Occasionally you may have spring flooding. It can be snowy in winter, but the sun warms the rock. Sections are listed from North to South. |
