About Oak Creek Canyon:

From the town of Sedona north along highway 89 towards Flagstaff is a riparian canyon with water and green leafy trees. Many campgrounds are found along this stretch of road. A roadside spring has great drinking water.
Nearest town or city: sedona
Directions: From Phoenix, drive north to Sedona. The areas are spread along the road north of town until the highway switchbacks to the Overlook, a basalt climbing area.
