About Troll Hut:

This is a small cluster of towers and faces that define the south end of the west rim climbs. Five bolted lines give access to several fine TR faces and anchors. This is NOT the way to reach the creek... that trail forks north from the Troll Hut approach in the final approach wash.
Nearest town or city: Superior, AZ
Directions: From the parking area in front of the power station, follow the chain link fence around to the right or south side of the station for about 300 feet, until an old road, blocked by boulders, takes off to the south, headed toward a hill covered with boulders and a single tower (Thunder Island). Where the trail meets the hill, turn left and follow the trail along the foot of the hill, finally descending into the wash. here, the trail to the Creek Walls and the bottom of the canyon forks left, over the hill and north. to reach the Troll Hut, keep right, following the wash down to a set of natural stone steps on the left bank, right on the rim of the canyon behind a short tower. Climb the steps, turn right, and drop into the Break Room behind the shoulder of the Troll Wall. The Hut is just below you, "Working Class" and "Sendero D'oro" are the lines on the face to your right.
