*** Chock stone on pitch 1 (20 feet up) is now GONE!!! No problem, does NOT make it any more difficult (2-1-04)*** Forty feet right of Big Ben. P1: Climb wide crack move left opposite belay 1 of Mighty Barge P2: Climb the crack to the chimney and to the top of the flake P3: Move left into the Big Ben crack and follow it to the top. Rap via 2 bolts via Henry VIII (easy traverse to the bolts) Little loose, lots of fun :D

first 20 feet difficult to protect, otherwise good but varied pro. waugh's old guide book says small to large nuts but i wouldn't want to only have nuts on this route.
Ok route, others here are better.

I really enjoyed this route. Long enough and enough diversity to have a blast on it. A little loose, but but great views, easy to protect, and shady and pretty cool even when the temps hit 110 in the valley. Crux on this is 20 feet up the third pitch.
