This is a great winter crag. Ten bolted or mixed routes ranging from 50' to over 110' tall. Easiest approach (only 5 min. on a level road!!) in all of Queen Creek Canyon. At least some of the climbs are well worth a visit. Park at the Atlantis pullout and head west on old road through the tunnel. Names for some of the routes are unknown and are numbered, beginning at the immediate end of the tunnel as you exit on your right. Climbs 1 - 3 are on the wall just to the left of the tunnel opening, and 4 - 7 are on the next high wall to the left above the old asphalt. All belays are from the level bed of the old road. The Unknown Routes are circa 1998, apparently put up by Jim Acuna. They have seen little use, and some are a little loose in spots. Southwest exposure with lots of sun. If anyone knows any names for the numbered climbs, please feel free to edit. The named routes have been put up more recently and are included below.
