The only wall with climbing development to date in the San Tan Mtns. Regional Park? Very featured wall up to 200' high in spots with up to 21 established routes - mostly easy to moderate and two pitches in length. Some loose rock is present, but not an issue on the more popular routes. The top of the crag tends to be crumbly making top anchor building a little challenge. Morning sun, afternoon shade. Standard Decent for Owl's Head: Hike north along ridge to obvious large gulley above Holeshot. Scramble down unlikely dirt gulley bearing right to a hidden tunnel formed by a large boulder with numerous slings for a rap anchor. One 60m rope doubled over will just make it to the ground.
