Description:
Considered one of the premier "classic" 5.9+ sport routes in AZ. Not only are the views and surroundings unbeatable, but it's also long (95') and sustained in difficulty. It is the tall spire that is located at the lower left of the opening to the area. Bolts are camoflaged and very difficult to spot until standing right under them. Access the start by scrambling down into bottom of water gulley. Climb vertical seams to 3rd bolt, then angle up and left to access sloping ledge and 4th bolt. Straight up pocketed face to top. Pockets abound, avoid any loose finger flakes above the ledge.

great route
i'd give it 5.9+ with the consistency of the climb. the bolts are far enough apart to make it exciting although close by zonerland standards. great views and exposure. last climb of the day so i hung at the crux bolt for a needed rest.

Ascent Note
Pulled a flake while clipping the 6th bolt and took about a 30 footer. Ended upside down with a little rock rash, but all okay. Small bolts held like champs. My bad - plenty of pockets, no need to use the small flakes.
