About Picture Rock:

Not really documented at all. This is an interesting formation off the main road just before entering the Baboquivari campground. It is named for the petroglyphs that are quite visible in areas of the rock's surface. On top of the rock is a secluded nest of Caracara's. The bones and remnants of their prey can be found scattered about the ridge of the rock where they perch to eat. Be careful when venturing around this rock there are two large bee hives that I know of, and have included pictures of them. Both are located on the North side of the formation in relatively close proximity to one another.
