Description:
The first pitch overhang at the start was the burley crux move. The route was sustained for the grade with steep face moves, well protected and offers a variety of weight transfer balance moves for the solid 5.9 leader. Route was enjoyable with great views. Bring up to 18 quick draws and cordellet for anchors. Can rappel the route with two ropes. Otherwise, walk off the backside of the Fortress, following the long narrow ridge that leads north back toward the saddle. Requires potentially dangerous 5th class scrambling.

fun route
With Brent Bingham. I guess we missed the last pitch and went up direct on the ramp above the third pitch.

Steel Crazy
Had a great time on this one with my buddy Mark. Got chased by a swarm of bees off the first pitch. Then regrouped and blasted this thing out. Run out but safe and a great view at the summit of the route!
