I finally made it in to check out this wall with highly rated routes from Kerry's book. The directions to the wall required updating.
Turn onto Klondyke road past Safford. Go about 10 miles. This is a good dirt road. After a few miles, the Klondyke wall will come into view. It is off on the right on a ridge line, perhaps 4 miles from the road. Turn onto a road that is labeled "Telegraph wash" (if you make it to the corral, you've gone too far) It leads to some homes. Follow this road in, always turning away from the driveways to homes. After a mile or two, you will reach a corral. You've gone too far. Go back 100 yards and turn right on a 4 wheel drive road. Follow this one for a mile or two, always tending left. You will cross two washes and one ridge line, ending on the second ridge line in. From the top of the ridge a ruined house is visible somewhat left a a direct line to the crags. Somewhat right of this direct line is a series of dirt roads. The ruined house has people living in trailers about it. We avoided getting close. and went around its left. On the way back we went around the other side. Either way is rough cross country travel. It took us two hours for each way.
The granite looked good, and the crack lines looked clean. sI didn't see any anchors. We arrived in a rain/sleet storm and didn't climb.
