Description:

Climb up thirty feet of 5.9 finger crack to the base of the 12 foot roof crack. Crank hard on those hand and fist jams and bomber jugs through the roof to a two bolt belay over the lip. continue to the top or lower from there. This is definitely one of the most classic roof cracks anywhere. It is one of the routes that you will want to do every time you go to Sam's (edited info: I upgraded this description from 11b to 11c. This is not because I am a weakmo, but rather that it is in concurance with Schull's book on Southern rock, with the Frisbee guidebook, with the consensus of several locals, and of course, with my own feeling. It is definitely an 11+... camhead)

After a few years of looking at and dreaming about this route, and TR-ing it twice a couple years ago, I finally tried it on lead. Got it first go. An incredible route with the most bomber jams you could ever imagine.

felt like my toughest onsight to date. it was definitely the nearest I have come to peeling, and then still recovered. An awesome route, but my effort was ugly. Elvis-Leg, feet skidding, campusing, etc. I really wanna go back and do this in better style. very nice line.
