About The Grand Traverse:

To get to this area/climb from Jasper, pass the parking area for the throne and find the only senic pullout (very small and made of rock) that is hidden in the summer by trees. Once you pass this pullout, you immediately go down a hill to a low point with guardrails on both sides of the road. Park on the north side of the guardrail on the side of the road. Hike down in the woods over an 8 foot outcrop of rock and follow the left cliff line as it goes down the creek. You will run into The Grand Traverse starting boulders if you follow the cliffline.
