Description:

The longest (for now) route in the midwest. This 17 pitch traverse of the south face is a great way to spend a long day or two on the mountain. Begin at the amphitheater area just east of the waterfall walkdown. Traverse East and trend upward to gain the roof section. The route follows just under the roof all the way across the mountain. Difficult sections can be bypassed using tension traverses and pendulums. Take advantage of belay ledges to move quickly, or drop down and traverse the existing routes below for a more challenging climb. Range of diff: 4th class - 5.12
