About Lake Atalanta:

Lake Atalanta is part of the city of Rogers parks system. The wall here is a 30 ft high slab of limestone with some fun climbing in the 5.6 to 5.7 range. There are harder boulder problems here and also nearby under development. The area below the rock has been covered with wood shavings for softer landings. This is not a great climbing spot by any means, but for those of you in Rogers, it's so close it could be a fun afternoon.
Nearest town or city: Rogers
Directions: From I-540, take exit 85 and turn right on West Walnut. Stay on Walnut street all the way through downtown Rogers. After crossing the railroad tracks, stay left and go down a hill. Lake Atalanta will be on your left. Take the left road and drive about 1/8 mile to a pulloff on the right. Find a place to park out of the way and look for the woodchip trail. Follow this trail about 1/8 mile to the climb.
