Description:

South face of the escarpment just south of the Whitney- Russell pass from Iceberg Lk. 130ft crack system begins 5.7 but continuosly steepens to overhanging rattley fingers then large hands over a bulge. rap the back side 40 ft to 3rd class ledges.

Mark and I did the FA of this cool crack on a day when we were going to do Mithral but the coulds were rolling in. Thought we had an obligatory rest day but found this gem. Hope it sees a second ascent sometime. I left a cairn at the top.
