Description:

From Glacier Lake Pass follow the ridge. There are several different possibilities here for some fun soloing. Some parties rope up and make it fourth class. If you plan to take the glacier part way there is some tricky routefinding. You have to stay pretty high before angling toward the glacier right where the vertical wall meets the shoulder. There are several steps to downclimb to get to the glacier. If you cut over too early, there are some steep cliffs that require rappels. Once reaching the glacier, it is straightforward to the notch and then on to the summit.
