About Al's Garage:
| Al's Garage is a predominantly sport climbing area on volcanic rock in the Big Springs area near Mammoth Lakes. Routes here tend to be longer and a little stiffer than those in nearby Clark Canyon. |

| Directions: | From Big Springs Campground, take FS 2S04 north. Turn right after a couple of miles at FS 2S06. Follow this as it twists and turns until it intersects with and becomes FS 1S47. Continue through a gate and down a small grade over a rough patch into a valley. Cross a spring here and turn left up the canyon on a grassy road. Drive to a parking area, and follow the obvious trail to the crag. |
