About Fossil Falls:

Little known area that is well worth a visit to stop and break up that endless drive. The climbing is on basalt and is generally quite solid and finger friendly. Best seasons are from fall through spring with summer being generally too warm to enjoy.

Nearest town or city:	Pearsonville
Directions:	From Hwy 395 exit east onto Cinder Rd. and follow signs to the parking area. A short walk east then south leads to the rim.
