The Happy's have around 120 boulder problems. The weather is about the same as the Sad's, but there is more shade here so it will be cooler in the summer months Pay camping at Pleasant Valley, free at Horton Creek (pit toilet and wash water) or The Pit (left before Pleasant Valley CG, porta-potty, free/donation) |

| Directions: | 15-20 mins NW of Bishop. Head west out of town on 395 past last traffic light, past T-intersection at Ed Powers Rd, then at next intersection turn right onto Pleasant Valley Dam Rd. Follow past Pleasant Valley Campground, then a sharp right onto Chalk Bluff Rd, which becomes unpaved at about a mile and a half. Then another 3.7 miles to the Happys canyon. Parking and porta-potty at bottom across from uphill trail. 5-10 mins hike up to the boulders. can also access Happys from the east on the way to the Sads, just turn left at Chalk Bluff Rd and head west for 2.3 miles |
