Description:

A stellar 10a, the crux comes at the first bolt where you have to mantle over a roof, a very strenuous move. It stays challenging after the crux. VALYGRL's edits: crux is not the mantle, but the thin section above.

3 out of 5 stars strenuous to balancy

That stupendous mantle is very well protected by a bolt. Lots of fun. The top rope allows you to try the very difficult route to the right.

3 out of 5 stars Ascent Note

Took a hang at the mantel, taken slightly aback by the intensity of it. Once through that move, the purportedly "thin" face climbing seemed straightforward.

Note that Young's guide shows 5 bolts before the anchors, but in reality there are only 4. The 5th bolt preceding the anchors does not exist (but is not needed, as the final moves are very easy).
