Description:
Mostly scrambling, minimal technical climbing. In early spring, the crux is definitely the descent, due to wet slippery conditions.

We started on Derringer, otherwise the top of pitch 1 is the summit. Great place to eat lunch and enjoy the scenery. Ahead a great scramble with interspersed 4th and 5th class terrain. A great downclimb brings you close to the Balconies Cave trail. Wonderful day, a mere glimpse of the climbing in the Pinnacles.
