Classic hands route up the middle of Hemingway Buttress. The 5.7 goes left at 3/4 height. A 5.9 var goes straight up, taking the finish of Poodles Are People Too.Descent Options:

Would have been more enjoyable...
if we hadn't picked a windy, cold morning to climb it. It seemed challenging for a 7, but that could just have been because I couldn't feel my hands. Jay led. We found anchors close by to the right to rap off of.

Good fun.
First trad climb. Couldn't find a top anchor so I hiked out the backside after belaying a friend up from the top. I used 7 pieces (cams and hexes).

Very fun with a lot of great hand jams. Definitely a J-Tree 5.7. Well protected and exciting from start to finish.
