Description:

This climb is located 20 feet to the right of RURP Romp. If soloing set of an anchor in the rock about 15-20 back from the base of the climb, just be sure not to fall until you get to the bolt 20 feet up, because you'll rip the 5 heads for sure. There are tons of fixed heads on this route, there was one point where I reached up past 3 of them to clip a 4th. I'm not sure why so many people are head happy. 3 hook moves or 5.9 free finish out the route. Vogel calls it A4 5.9, Bartlett calls it A3. I'll just say C3F.

4 out of 5 stars "cleaner" now

Pulled most of the fixed heads and removed most of the deadheads. Left enough that if anyone wants to do it as a fixed head ladder they can, can't see why anyone would want to though.
Two hook moves above last bolt are all that's needed. Three fat bolts on top to set a TR. Rap from the rings at the top of Rurp Romp.

Route can go clean after the first bolt, offset nuts and offset cams needed. Only three head placements (out of four) needed below the first bolt. (Was able to hook past the third fixed head)

C2F or 5.9 C1F

0 out of 5 stars Ascent Note

Fun route, too many fixed heads though, I should have pulled all the crap out. Topping out with the hook moves is more exciting than the 5.9 free, especially when wearing boots and an aid rack.
