Description:
Hands to fists to offwidth to squeeze-chimney. Dive in! Excellent crack; however, quite strenuous and awkward, especially for 5.7. A full-body workout.

Dolphin
One of the better 5.7's at Jtree and my preferred warm up for Bird of Fire. Perfect 20' finish to teach chicken wing technique to someone. With Alfred from CA. This wall gets a lot more am sun by the time May rolls around, but the Dolphin shades itself nicely. The upper section protects adequately with one C4 #5. With Alfred from CA.

Winded Finish
Solid crack leading to that "chimney thing". Long stretch from last pro to finish inside that "chimney thing" up top. Recommend staying outside and not getting in too far. Catch your breath and watch out for those sharp edges while wedging.
A lot of fun...particularly after topping out and reflecting. My opinion, for what its worth, the climb is rated easier than it actually climbs. An in-experienced chimney climber could be caught off guard 2/3 way up.
Doozer N. lead, Ian K. clean-up, Laura and Jacqui bouldered below.

Miserable f*cking chimney!
My intro to terrible chimneys! Loved the climb up until that part. Then, pow! Not sure why this is 5.7, felt a lot harder to me. #6 cam pretty much required I think!
