About Lost Pencil:

Formation with chopped bolts, east of Jerry's Quarry.
Approach: Park at the fifth pull-out down the geology tour road and walk 1.5 miles out directly north into the desert you should be able to recognize the pillar after a while. To get onto the platform to climb, you need to scramble 4th class climb up the northwest face.
