Description:

Gently overhanging splitter crack that goes from off-fingers to hands. Approach from the Rattlesnake Canyon parking loop as for the Iceberg Boulder. But at 100 yards, instead of hooking left, continue straight west toward northern-most formation immediately to the west. Boortemus is on this formation's northwest side, on a big blocky boulder, visible only when just about directly in front.

Descent Options:

Walk off to climber's right, with a bit of easy downclimb.

Great solid overhung hand jamming. Short and good. The crux is getting your feet in the crack once the hand jams start near the beginning.
