About Kaleidoscope Cliff:

Many fun short routes, mostly mixed climbing. Has a tendency to be cold and windy similar to White Cliffs of Dover. Many parts of the cliff have questionable rock.
Approach: Park at the last lot on the Lost Horse road before reaching the gates. Follow the road towards the Ranger Station near Lost Horse Mine passing three small walls on the right (Super Heroes, etc...). Shortly after passing the walls, look to the right for a faint old road (notice two paths for wheels). This road has mostly regrown, but outline still present. Follow this for 10 minutes heading west. A single cliff inset at about middle height of the surrounding moutain is the wall. Stay on the road until you are perpendicular to the wall, turn left and head to the cliff. No trail exists. Scramble up rock gully for 100 yds to the base of the climbs. This cliff lies directly behind White Cliffs of Dover and can also be access from Trashcan Rock parking. It is also more easily seen from Trashcan Rock.
Approach Time: 25 min
Latitude, Longitude:
Access Issues: No trail from old road to cliff, so minimize impact.

Type of Climbing: Trad
