5 out of 5 stars OMG! Negro Girls is GNAR!

OMG! My partner and I went to send the classic "Walk on Wildside", not noticing...how we hopped on "Negro Girls" 5.9R on accident. He lead Pitch 1 (6 Bolts_160ft), the first bolt, yep a classic runout@30-40' on 5.9 slab. Bring long slings to help with drag, the belay anchors are way out to the right above a large dish, at the dish you will encounter an epic mantel move to the anchors. Pitch 2, I lead this insanity (2 Bolts_110ft) and let me tell you, you can badly see the first bolt some 50ft out. A little gritty, but every move is there, pure balance, heady and exposed. The route dances up epic J-Tree slab and friction. Once to bolt 1, (it's a lovely spinner, button head) you get a mental breather before another epic 50ft runout to the second bolt. Then proceed toward the black knobby shelf, mantel it and your at the anchors. Pitch 3, I lead again. Climb up left to ramp, use rap station for anchor and solo climb ramp to right, use your rope and or long slings to tie off a chick head or two. Exit, scramble off the backside right, then solo traverse up easy crack to some rap anchors. Rap here to ledge, find another rap station rap here, then scramble down, tunnel your way and make your way down.
