Bubinga Boulder
About Bubinga Boulder:
| Bubinga Boulder sits high on a ridge over Eagle Lake. The views are great and the rock is perfect splitter granite. Unfortunately the approach is 1 hr and the boulder is only 40 ft high. Approach: Follow the directions as per Eagle Buttress. Then Continue past the buttress to the right side. Cross a short talus field of huge boulders heading generally up. Bubinga soon appears up to the left just below the cliffs of the ridge. Though I dont claim we were the first to climb there, we cleaned up the routes and did them a few years back. |
