Eagle Buttress sits on a ridge high above Eagle Lake. On the buttress itself it has routes ranging from easy 5th class to 5.10.
Directions: Hike to Eagle lake. Cross the mouth of the Eagle Creek and continue on the north side of the lake. Head up and right into a steep talus gully with 150ft tall cliffs on the right side. Continue to the top of the gully, following cairns to negotiate patch of manzanita. At the top of the gully start heading north diagonally up the hillside to the ridge. Continue up the ridge for another 1/4 mile to the buttress. The buttress comes into view when you are on the ridge propper.
