2 out of 5 stars clearified
This crack was named in the 70s or early 80s. Correct name is Juniper Tree Crack. Rating: oldschool 5.4
Free soloed by most climbers. Nice introduction to low angle crack climbing for a first timer. Used to access the cliffs, and routes, above the Upper Tier for those that don't want to hike up the trail to the left of this cliffband.
THANKS! I was curious about this one and even emailed the brothers that wrote the guidebook.. he didn't know the name so thats great you cleared that up!

4 out of 5 stars bushes

gotta walk through the bushes but i will imagine the trail get easier through the bushes as more people do this route.

very fun little crux. I ended up placing my #6 cam at the bottom wide crack so i didn't have anything for the top, but it was fine because there's a good micro crack on the face that i fit a #2 BD nut.
