About Rainbow:

Rainbow Cirque is a granite bowl sitting just off i-80 about 15 minutes west of Truckee. Smooth water polished granite is the name of the game here with tons of hard, slabby, runout types of routes. This is a beautiful zone with ez access, be respectful of private property and local ethics. There is also a Granite bouldering area just off the freeway at 'big bend' on I-80. Most of the rock is more awesome slab climbing, some hidden gem boulders with vertical or overhanging faces.
