About Squaw Valley:
| From the old olympic village, look up the canyon to the North when facing the tram headwall. You'll see a V shaped granite cliff with some black streaks on it. You can take the trail that goes up to Shirley Lake, and then head off towards the cliff. There is also a water tower with a trailhead that skirts just past the top of the cliff. |
