Description:

"Garden of Expectations" ascends the black, water streaked face 40 ft. upstream from "Game Boy" and 15 ft. left of "Mystic River." Climb the featured dark face between the cracks on positive edges. The lower 2/3 of the climb features amazing edges, the occasional jam, and pockets. The steep headwall, at the top, features a crack and a variety of pockets.

Today we did the 1st ascent of a fun, new route in the Grotto. "Garden of Expectations" offers another great moderate route in the shade of the Grotto on amazing rock with positive edges, numerous pockets, and the occasional jam. The route has been meticulously cleaned and is well protected. "Garden of Expectations" is located on the south side of the Grotto, left of "Mystic River."
