About Matt's Boulders or "The Nest":

Three large boulders right by malibu creek. great rock quality. Good cave as well. although, theres about a foot of water below. =/ . When i first found this I thought i saw it first, and I did first ascents until i was told that these climbs were done years ago by someone named Matt. so i will use the names i came up with, but give first ascent credits to Matt.
Approach: I'd recommend hiking from crags road off lake vista by malibu lake. Start hiking and take your first left towards malibu lake (the sign says maldam for malibu dam) and hike until you are directly below the large rock wall on the left. the boulders are on a trail going right.
