About Lower East Side:

The Lower East Side is a seldom visited, but easily accessible wall below and north of The Chicken (Hyperion Slab). The wall faces the northeast and is easily seen below and to the right of the approach trail as one nears the east face of The Chicken (Hyperion Slab). The wall is steep, but less than vertical and while featuring numerous cobbles and inclusions, it lacks the wonderful pockets characteristic of the other walls at Texas Canyon. There are anchors near the top of the wall.
Approach: From the parking area on the road to Rowher Flat OHV area (Rush Canyon Road) follow the road past the locked white gate for ~ 75 yds until a trail diagonals down to the right toward the large rock formation with the caves. When level with the caves walk down hill to the right to the base of the wall.
Approach Time: About 10 minutes to the base of the wall.
