Description:

Located on the east wall of Texas Canyon, just right of the Oak Tree. Spider's line is a meandering line the initially works up and right past 3 spaced bolts. Once on the skyline work back left to clip an anchor (once a single bolt) and another bolt before reaching a chain anchor. From the anchor continue past four more bolts to the summit.

Descent Options:

Rappel to intermediate anchors and the ground, in two single rope rappels or scramble north to the anchor for Aqua Negro and make two single rope rappels to the ground.

3 out of 5 stars Cool in The Canyon

Fun solo. With the temps in the high 90s elsewhere, it's cool in The Canyon.
FYI, P1 - 4 bolts (4th is a chain anchor for the Brand X wall) to a chain anchor on the left, P2 - 4 bolts.

3 out of 5 stars Spider's Line

Wow! We had fun on this line. Hot in the sun, but very comfortable in The Canyon. Not exactly a sport climb, due to the bolt spacing, and meandering line, but clean and well protected, good fun.
