I led this on gear, skipping the bolts. This would be a good first 5.9 trad climb for a beginner, tons of rests and bolts in case you don't feel comfortable. It is plenty safe, but it does have some loose blocks that wouldn't be good to place gear in.
Always walked past this spire because there was no info in the guidebook but finally stopped to climb it. This is the middle of the three bolted routes. Really fun with varied moves. Not too hard, just a few 5.9 moves in a 5.8 climb.
