4 out of 5 stars sketchy lead!

First protection at about 20 feet (really sketchy placement in possibly loose block), an second at about 50 feet off the deck, then finish up to the anchors.

You'll notice the hardest parts of the climb are un-protected while the very last (and easiest) part of the route is well protected.

Make sure you're comfortable with the route if you're going to lead it, its COMPLETELY normal here to break off a hold (in fact, i've broken two and tread lightly over precarious holds every time)

4 out of 5 stars Not sure if I did the right route

Hard to know which way to go, there are so many options from the same anchor. A very varied climb, lots of fun with an ocean view. Check the tides before you go.

4 out of 5 stars Recording old ascent

My friend took me here when I knew very little about climbing. A great experience. Would love to return to H.C. someday.
