About Promontory:

Beachfront cliff that sees heavy weathering from the Pacific Ocean. Due to this however, the rock is INSANELY featured, but expect those awesome features to be quite sandy. This is probably the single most impressive developed wall on the North Coast
Nearest town or city: Crescent City
Directions: Drive north from Arcata on the (101) for ~ 13 miles, exit the highway after passing over the Wilson Creek bridge and park on the left. You have to cross the Creek in order to approach the obvious large wall straight up the coast.
