Fairly nice wall of grungy limestone not too far from Redding. Can get hot in the summer and seeps in the winter. Watch out for poison oak out here as it is in abundance on the approach.
Nearest town or city: Burney
Directions: Fortunately the directions on how to get to The Shredding are very easy. Take I-5 from any direction to Redding. Proceed to take the Highway 299 East exit. From the junction of the (5) and (299) go 26 miles. The parking is on the left hand side after a fairly sharp right trending turn. A distinct slab will be on your left just prior to the pullout.
