About Menifee:

Small boulder crop at the corner of Newport and Murrieta roads in Menifee. There is a easily recognizable rock painted like a bald eagle wearing an american flag. Lots of granite boulders ranging from 8'-20' high, however at least half of them are in varying states of advanced decomposition and therefore are quite sharp. There are a few jems here though, I'll be posting pictures and listing some routes next week. Within a mile of this spot there are other small crops of boulders that have the same range as this location, but their locations are possibly on private land, although unfenced. Again, i'll post pics next week. If anyone else on here has climbed anything in this spot, email me at grahamversus@gmail.com and i'll add the info into the listing.
Nearest town or city: Menifee / Canyon Lake
Directions: 215 to Newport Road, exit west. Head to Murrieta Road, turn left at the intersection, park at the Walgreen's. Walk up to the first hill closest to both the Walgreen's and Murrieta Road. The boulder with the bush growing out of the top of it is the best spot at the site.
