Brian's Song - 5.10d

Classic route on Keller Peak (incidentally, first sports crag in So Cal). This route is fun and technical. Start with jugs to the first ledge until you run out of hands. Traverse left towards a large divit in the rock downclimb to the horizontal crack 4 inches below the left foot and head back up toward the divit using the left arete as guidance.

To get the most out of the route, stay on the face (although you can still reach the clips from the arete on the right lip of the crack) and use the crimpers to inch your way up the horizonatal crack system. The bulge to a large shelf is definitely the crux, there are no solid hands, but there is a crack to the right and hand smear the top rounded lip for just a little bit of "oomph" (remember to position your body in towards the rock and push yourself over).

The rest are a series of jugs and relatively good crimps to the anchor.
