About Sport Boulder:

This large boulder rises directly out of the creek and has a high concentration of quality routes.
Approach: Located just across the creek from the Thurman Flats picnic area. Midway between the Mentone Ranger Station and Forest Falls runoff, on Highway 38.
Approach Time: 5-10 minutes

Access Issues: The Thurman Flats Picnic Area parking lot is locked at 7 pm. A National Forest Adventure Pass ($5 at ranger station) is required to park either on the road or in the picnic area.
