About Calexico Lodge Boulders:

This small underdeveloped area lies just off the highway and can easily be seen from interstate 8. The quality of the rock is great to choss and is similar to J-tree. The area consists of two circuts one located directly behind Calexico lodge shortly down the road from the famous Candy cottage on the way to McCain Valley. This circut consists of relatively few boulders but some quality problems along the creek. The are an abundance of routes and there is a ton of potential for future development. The second of the circuts lies east of Calexico lodge and can easily be seen from both I-8 and the old highway. It consists of two hills of boulders with a multitude of climbs ranging from V0-V7 and there is tons of potential for development. There are some really good problems towards the top of the hill including a huge overhanging face.
